The embassy to Spain pointed out in a communique published on the Day of Human Rights that the enemies of the Revolution are the same as those who started wars like Iraq and killed hundreds of thousands of innocent victims.

“They are the ones who keep in secret the concentration camp of U.S. Naval Base at Guantanamo Bay, the oldest existing U.S. military base outside US territory,” it said, adding that the US allowed torture, internationally carried out by the CIA, and the secret flights of the CIA over Cuban territories.

The text highlights the work of the Cubans aimed at fully enabling human rights and their long record of cooperation under universal and non-discriminatory bases.

Few governments in the world have obtained so much in favor of human rights as the Cuban government has over 49 years of Revolution, the report added.
