Aligarh : The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has suspended a student leader for indiscipline.
Vice Chancellor Zameer Uddin Shah suspended Taushif Alam, vice president of AMU Students Union, and barred him from entering the university campus, an official said Tuesday.
Alam, a student of mass communication, was warned Feb 28 for allegedly indulging in unlawful activities. An official said he continued to indulge in acts of indiscipline.
The AMU order also divested Alam’s responsibility as vice president of the student body.
