Gaza : A couple of missiles were fired from north Gaza Strip targeting southern Israel, Israeli Army said on Sunday.
The army spokesman told the Israeli radio the two missiles, unleashed late on Saturday, landed in an open area in Negev region, near the strip, leaving no causalities or damage.
Separately, an armed Palestinian group fired, late last night, eight mortar shells in the direction of southern Israel. One of them landed in the town of Sderot, injuring a resident, panicking others and damaging nearby cars, the spokesman added.
Meanwhile, the Israeli Army reported death of one soldier, on Saturday, at a training camp near Negev. The elite elite commando was killed during training on desert scouting when he slipped off a 15-meter cliff.
