Israel takes security precautions ahead of Bush”s visit

Gaza : Israel put police on high alert on Tuesday in preparation for the upcoming visit of US President George W Bush expected on Wednesday.

Police spokesman told Israel Radio that troops would be stationed around residence of Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and King David Hotel in Jerusalem later today till end of Bush’s visit.
Police will also intensify presence in vicinity of Al-Aqsa mosque in the holy city.

Parking of vehicles on sides of streets where motorcade of the US president would pass would be banned. Violating parked vehicles would be towed and placed at a sports stadium in Jerusalem.
