Aligarh: Dr Mah Seema Masood, director, Centre of Continuing and Adult Education and Extension at the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) passed away at her residence on Wednesday, January 7.
She was 63. She is survived by a son.
Dr Mah Seema Masood, daughter of a renowned English Professor and former Dean, Faculty of Arts in AMU, Prof Masoodul Hasan, did her MA (Philosophy), MA (Education) and M Phil from AMU. Her brother Naved Masood, IAS, is a Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, government of India.
AMU Vice Chancellor, Lt Gen Zameer Uddin Shah and Pro-Vice Chancellor Brigadier S Ahmad Ali have offered their heart-felt condolences to her father Prof Masoodul Hasan, a release from AMU PRO said.
