Yemeni PM re-denounces Israeli aggression

By NNN-Saba

Sana’a : Prime Minister Ali Mujawar of Yemen renewed Yemeni leadership and people’s harsh condemnation of the continuous Israeli aggressive raids on Palestinians.

He called on the international community to support the Palestinian people and stop Israeli oppression which ignored international conventions and human and moral values.

This condemnation was made public during Mujawar’s opening of the activities of the 2nd ‘Solidarity Week with the Palestinians’, which is organized by Palestine supporting institutions in Sana’a that would continue until Feb 13 2008.

Mujawar made clear the importance of coordinating regional and international efforts to alleviate the blockade forced by the Israeli occupation on the Palestinians in their own land.

In this regard, he praised the role played by the institutions and organizations that support the Palestinian issue, affirming support for this Arab and national case in all situations. “The Palestinian issue will always be a concern of Yemeni political leadership and official and public activities,” Mujawar said.

He added President Ali Abdullah Saleh is always defending the right of Palestinians to set up their independent state and rejecting this imposed occupation in the land of Palestine, in addition to calling to unity of the Palestinian stance and discarding all kinds of sedition to face this Israeli danger.
