Islamabad : A suicide bomber rammed his explosive-laden car with a security forces vehicle, killing security personnel and inuring 17 other people in Pakistan’s tribal region on Saturday, witnesses said.
The bomber also died in the attack 9 kilometers away from Khar, the headquarters of Bajur tribal region.
Witnesses said that 8 security men were among those injured.
The injured were taken to Agency’ Headquarters Hospital, where they faced difficulties to get proper treatment in time due to lack of doctors and medicines.
The blast created panic among the people who also shut shops.
No group claimed responsibility.
Taliban-linked militants are active in Bajur like other tribal regions, who are suspected to be behind attacks on security forces.
