Hanoi : The ships Ins Kora and Ins Karpan of the Indian Navy began a visit to Haiphong port, north Vietnam, which is viewed as an effort to tighten ties between the respective Armed Forces.
The hips, under command of Lieutenant Colonels Ajay Kochhar and Raul Parmar, will be welcomed by the 3rd Military Zone Command and local civilian government officials.
The Indian sailors plan to meet Vietnamese counterparts and visit places of cultural and social interest during their 5-day stay.
