It was Kings XI’s first win in three matches while the Daredevils have played well to keep a clean slate after winning both their matches and are sitting pretty at second place in the points table.

For Daredevils, it has been a one-sided affair in both the outing so far but going by current from it won’t be the same when they face the Punjab team in their away game at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium here Sunday.

Having lost their first two matches easily, Kings XI were in trouble, but after the win against Mumbai Indians it seems that Yuvraj Singh and his boys are gradually settling down.

Kings XI now look like a organised bowling side and the way Brett Lee spat fire against the Mumbai Indians will be a matter of concern for the Daredevils as well. Irfan Pathan and Sreesanth, who was slapped by Harbhajan Singh, are also bowling well and may pose problems to the mighty batting line-up of the Daredevils.

The big names in their batting line-up are also finding their touch and Sri Lankan Kumar Sangakkara showed it by hitting a match winning 94 in the last match. Their advantage is a long batting order with Brett Lee coming as the eighth batsman.

However, their strength will be tested against a high flying Daredevils team lead by Virender Sehwag. The Delhi team is on a high specially after the match against Deccan Chargers, when Sehwag single-handedly crushed the bowlers of the Hyderabad team.

Sehwag on his day can be deadly and he has already proved that in this tournament. And he has also inspired the youngsters in his team. The presence of Pakistani fast bowler Mohammed Asif alongside legendry Glenn McGrath will be an extra boon for the Delhi side.

With Asif and McGrath opening the bowling, Daredevils have the most potent new ball attack. Asif has played only one match in the league so far but stamped his brilliance all over it in tandem with his childhood idol McGrath.

All in all it will be an exciting encounter, with Kings XI desperately seeking to prove a point or two and Daredevils trying to maintain their supremacy.
