Agra : A large number of people blocked a key highway here Saturday after the 12-year-old daughter of a truck driver was raped and murdered, officials said.
The girl’s body was found Saturday near Deori road, branching off the Gwalior road. Police said two men had been arrested. They had allegedly assaulted and strangled her.
Residents of several villages gathered on the highway and blocked traffic to protest against the rape-cum-murder.
