Dhaka : At least eight people were killed and over 50 injured as northwester storms swept over Natore, Sirajganj, Bagerhat, Rajbari and Jessore districts in western Bangladesh Friday night.
Many of the victims died when trees fell on them, The Daily Star said Sunday.
