Islamabad : Seven people were killed and five others injured during a clash between two rival groups in northwestern Pakistan’s tribal region, local TV channel Geo reported Wednesday.
Activists of Lashkara-i-Islam and Ansarul Islam exchanged fire in Tirah valley of Khyber Agency Tuesday night. Seven people were reportedly killed during the trade of fire whereas five others were injured, said the report.
The ongoing clash between the two rival groups has been lasting for more than 20 days, leaving more than 100 people dead, another TV channel DAWN NEWS reported.
