Tehran : Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili and EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana discussed Iran’s nuclear programme over the phone Monday.
During the phone conversation, the two sides called for continuation of the Geneva talks regarding Iran’s nuclear activities.
According to the Public Relations Department of the SNSC, the two sides underlined that continuation of the Geneva talks requires a positive and constructive atmosphere.
They agreed to continue negotiations and exchange views in the future.
During the recent Geneva talks, the two sides agreed to hold the next round of talks after two weeks.
Tehran has dismissed the issue of the deadline, stressing that the two sides agreed to continue their talks after studying the papers exchanged by Jalili and Solana during the meeting.
