New Delhi : Professor Baseer Ahmad Khan joined Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) as Pro-Vice Chancellor here Monday.
Dr Khan has rendered his services as professor in the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Social Sciences of Jamia Hamdard. He was also Dean Students Welfare and Proctor of the university besides Head of the Faculty.
Former president of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Students Union, Dr Khan was also a lecturer in AMU for a brief period.
In his student life, Dr Khan was president of National Council of University Students of India (NCUSI).
