Jajpur : At least two people were killed and three others sustained burn injuries after a vehicle which they were repairing came in contact with a live wire in Orissa's Jajpur district Wednesday, police said.
According to the police, at least five people, including the driver, were repairing a four-wheeler at Ostapal mining area, some 120 km from capital Bhubaneswar, when the accident occurred.
The deceased were identified as Jagannath Das, 42, a resident of Charampa village in the neighbouring Bhadrak district, and Trilochan Mohanta, 22, a resident of Gurujang village in Jajpur district.
The injured were admitted to the Sriram Chandra Bhanja Medical College Hospital at Cuttack in critical condition.
