Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat will present the award here May 31.

"She is a shining example for today's women and their need to create own identity. She is not only a businesswoman but also a well-known social worker," said Rajasthan Foundation secretary Sundeep Bhutoria.

He said Shekhawat's presence would be a great boost to the Rajasthan Foundation's Kolkata chapter as it is still in its nascent stage.

"The chapter has great plans for focused social service in future and for that it needs the patronage to firmly stand on its feet," Bhutoria added.

The Rajasthan Foundation is a NGO established by the Rajasthan government. It works as a bridge between Kolkata and Rajasthan. Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje is its chairperson.

Apart from the Non Residential Talent Award 2007, the 'Haldi Ghati Award' will be given to Sardamal Kankaria for his contribution to the fields of accessorial service and education.

A local group, Marudhara, would be conferred the 'Dharti Dhora Ri' Award for its constant effort to promote Rajasthani Art and Culture in Kolkata.
