Cairo : Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa will embark on a swift visit to Lebanon to look into the issue of the Presidential elections there, to be discussed in parliament on November 21.
Head of Moussa’s office ambassador Hashim Yusuf revealed that the Arab official would embark on the visit within the upcoming 48 hours, convening with Lebanese officials and legislators to find a way out from the current political crisis in the country.
Yusuf indicated that the visit might be an indicator that the Presidential issue would be resolved, leading to other solutions to political issues troubling Lebanon.
Moussa visited last week Syria where he met with senior state officials there.
