Paris : The Iranian community residing in France by issuing a statement on Saturday called on all Iranian compatriots to attend a protesting rally here on Sunday to oppose the recent statement of France Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner about Iran.
According to a statement, a copy of which was faxed to IRNA bureau in Paris, the demonstration will start Sunday at 4:00 pm in Trocadero Square and lasts for 2 hours.
The statement said, “You, the Iranian compatriots residing in France, who are worried about world events and concerned about Iran and the region, are invited to attend the Trocadero Square to defend peace and a secure world without war, bloodshed and fear.” The community described the recent statement of Kouchner ‘incredible’ and a cause of ‘wonder’.
