Athens : An earthquake 5.2 degrees in the Richter scale has shaken southern Greece on Friday with no victims or material damages reported, said the Geodynamic Institute here.
The telluric movement’s epicenter was found under the sea, south of the Peloponnese, at about 170 miles southeast of Athens where effects were also felt.
According to the institute’s release, the phenomenon is considered an aftershok of a bigger one that has happened on February 14.
On that date two powerful earthquakes of 6.5 and 6.3 Richter scale degree with epicenters in the same area of this last one, have shaken the Hellenic republic.
