Kabul : A soldier of the US-led coalition troops was killed in western Afghanistan, the military said on Saturday.
A statement from the coalition forces’ Bagram base said the soldier died when the vehicle he was traveling in struck an improvised explosive device (IED).Coalition personnel have secured the scene.
The incident was being investigation, said the military, which did not reveal name and nationality of the soldier, nor the exact location of the blast.
