Guwahati : A Nagaland police constable was arrested at the Guwahati railway station Wednesday on charges of trying to smuggle arms and ammunition.
Government Railway Police said Pradip Kumar was caught on a New Delhi-bound train with two pistols and 90 rounds of ammunition.
“He confessed he procured these from Dimapur and was going to Delhi,” said an official.
