The Jhansi police on Saturday registered an FIR under IPC section 504 (for intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace) and section 507 (for criminal intimidation by an anonymous communication) after receiving complaint from a police constable Sagar Sathe.
As per the Sathe’s complaint, he was with assistant commissioner of police Khushalchand Baheti, who had gone to Surana Nagar to visit a friend. The ACP had left his mobile phone in his car and went inside to meet his friend. When the ACP’s phone started ringing, Sathe attended the call and said that the officer is away.
