Salmaan, 26 runs vegetable shop in Bangalore called “Fresh and More.”
“My earliest memory of Ramadan is of fireworks (laughs). I remember when I was a child on the day of Eid, the last day of Ramadan, some of my friends and myself were celebrating by bursting fireworks, and I had an accident where I burnt my face above my eye, and was hospitalised for some time. The next year Ramadan came again, and so did my memory of last year’s Eid. But that did not stop me from celebrating it yet again,” said Kerala-native Salmaan.
“This year too I will close my shop for a week and go back home to celebrate Eid with family.”
