Bangalore: More than 26,000 children from all over India took part in Islamic Studies’ test conducted by Maulana Abul Hasan Ali Mian Nadvi Islamic Academy (MAHAMNI Academy). The test was conducted at 189 centers on 12th February.
Text books on Islamic Studies were published by the Academy in Urdu, Hindi and Kannad. These books comprised the syllabus of the test conducted by the Academy. The subjects opted by the Academy have been inducted in syllabi of more than 450 schools across the country.
Many non-Muslim students, including 14 non-Muslim girls, joined Open Islamic Course at Bhatkal Anjuman Degree College. Their results will be declared on 18th February, 2008. At the occasion, meritorious students will be given away awards by Maulana Syed Mohammad Rabey Hasani Nadwi, president, Al India Muslim Personal Law Board. Last year, a gold medal was given to a non-Muslim girl student.
