The state has notched up one rank up in the overall ranking of previous year. Last year its overall ranking was 14th and this year it is 13th from the top.
Urdu daily helps Muslim girls find Muslim grooms

Saharanpur : Muslim girls living in Nari Niketan here feel fed up with the life they are living as they see their Hindu counterparts being married off one after another with the efforts being made by some Hindu organisations, says a front-page report in New Delhi based Urdu daily Hindustan Express Wednesday.
The Express report adds that nine Muslim girls living in this Nari Niketan for years together, who have now attained marriageable age, do not find Muslim grooms.

Washington : A new USA TODAY/Gallup Poll found few Americans plan to observe the upcoming 9/11 anniversary in a formal way, though the majority still regards the terror attack as the most memorable event in their lifetime.
The poll, released here Monday, found 71 percent of Americans called 9/11 the most memorable news event of their lifetime.
