Question:
(a) whether the Audit Report 2008-09 has identified gross irregularities in the appointments of Data Entry Operators (DEOs) on contract basis in Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM);
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether any inquiry has been conducted into the matter;
(d) if so, the outcome thereof; and
(e) the action taken against the guilty persons?

(a) & (b) No. Preliminary observations contained in the Inspection Report have pointed out some observations about the irregularities in the appointment of Data Entry Operators for which a detailed reply has been submitted by the CCRUM. The audit has been updated with the facts indicating the sanctions of the Competent Authorities for their engagements.
(c) No.
(d) & (e) Do not arise.
