Ayodhya Hindus hate Sangh Parivar, keep aloof from its programs

Many would be surprised but it is a fact that the issue on which they communalized minds and polarized Hindu votes and came to power, has now few takers. The city, which sent shockwaves across the country when Babri Masjid was demolished by karsevaks on 6th December 1992, now hates them.

Today there are few takers of Ram Mandir issue in Ayodhya whose overwhelming Hindu majority hates Hindutva outfits of Sangh Parivar and their leaders. Hindus living in the vicinity of the makeshift Ram Temple in Hanuman Garhi, Ayodhya outright reject the ideology of Hindutva. They say what happened in 1992 was the work of outsiders brought in by RSS, VHP and Bajrang Dal. Locals had nothing to do with them then. They have no interest in them now as well.
“Common Hindus here have never had any interest in Sangh Parivar, neither before the demolition of Babri Masjid, nor now. They do not take interest in programs held by outfits of Sangh Parivar,” Jugal Kishore Shastri, ex-RSS pracharak and resident of Hanuman Garhi, tells TwoCircles.net.
“If Sangh Parivar tries to repeat the incident of 6th December today in Ayodhya, there will be a division and revolt within the Hindu society. Majority of Hindus, which comprises OBCs and other backward classes, will forcefully oppose it,” says Shastri who is also an eyewitness of the demolition of Babri Masjid. People have become aware now. Such awareness was not in 1992. Now Sangh Parivar feels isolated from the mainstream Hindu society. People say they are anti human and antinational, adds Shastri who has worked for communal harmony here and have held several programs to make masses aware of the design and plan of Sangh Parivar.
Dr Samrat Ashok Maurya, resident of Hanuman Garhi, says there are few buyers of the ideology of Hindutva organizations. “They are flop here. It is difficult for them to gather even 100 locals in their programs. If they do not bring people from outside and do not pollute the minds of rural people, their programs are completely flop,” Dr Samrat Ashok tells TCN.
“People living outside Ayodhya have misunderstandings about Ayodhya residents. They think local Hindus will be votary to Hindutva or extremist Hindu ideology. This is completely wrong and baseless,” says Dr Samrat emphatically.
“The peaceful situation here is disturbed by antisocial elements who come from outside for mere politics. The same thing happened in 1992. Then too locals had not changed their mind. They were all the way secular. Locals are not communal. They have never involved in communal riots. They are sponsored by VHP and BJP and executed by antisocial elements that come from outside,” he says.
Ram Narayan Maurya, another Ayodhya resident, echoes general feeling of Hindus. “Local people have no interest in RSS, VHP or Bajrang Dal. People want to live with peace. They do not want to have any business with these organizations.” “When leaders like Togadia or Singhal come here people pay little attention to them because they know they are doing just politics, and their presence here creates trouble for common people as heavy security arrangements are made for them, which ultimately hamper businesses of local people,” says Ram Narayan.
Common Hindus say the Ram Temple issue raised by Sangh Parivar was just politics and to get power. Construction of Ram Temple was never in their plan.
“Construction of Mandir had never been the main purpose of the Ram Temple movement. The main purpose was to unite the Hindu society and capture the power. Construction of Mandir and install their own pujari was never the aim,” says Jugal Kishore Shastri.
“It is a principle of Sangh Parivar that Hindu society must be united even at the cost of killing of humanity. Though it says it is a cultural organization, RSS has indirectly been attached to politics. Earlier it guided Jan Sangh and now BJP,” he says. Sometimes they give impression that there is rift between RSS and BJP but it is just to befool public. Their main purpose is to set a Hindu Rashtra. For that purpose they have created BJP. And in Hindu Rashtra there will be no democracy but monarchy because in Hindu ideology and religious books we find only monarchs and emperors, he adds.
Shastri left Sangh Parivar in 1986 and with him hundreds of people from Backward classes also left it. He was Ayodhya secretary of VHP. He took the decision when he realized that if Sangh Parivar got full power they will impose Manusmirti – the constitution of caste system. “After spending a few years I found that Sangh hates OBCs, Dalits and backward classes. I come from that class. I came to know that Manusmirti is their first constitution. It means they want to please just 20% of population. I came to the conclusion that if they came to power they will impose Manusmirti and I and our class and OBCs and Dalits will be pushed to ancient time,” he says.
Ram Narayan Maurya says: “These Sangh organizations are doing politics over Ram and people do not have interest in them. People are not listening to them.”
As people thinking on this line are in majority in Ayodhya, there is complete communal harmony here. Both communities take part in each other’s social and cultural programs. There is no communal feeling.
“Common Hindus consider Sangh Parivar, not Muslims, their enemy. But the creamy class of Hindu society that comprises Brahmins and landed people still have affiliation with Sangh because they eye political and economic benefits that this affiliation could give them. But they are just 25%. The rest 70% Hindus think otherwise. They see Sangh as their enemy. In Ayodhya Muslims and common Hindus have good relations, and there is no communal feeling between them. They take part in each other’s social and cultural programs,” says Jugal Kishore Shastri.
“Hindus want peace and there is peace in Ayodhya. Muslims also want peace and both the communities are living peacefully here. There is complete communal harmony here,” says Ram Narayan Maurya. Maurya likes communal harmony programs organized at regular interval by some NGOs. To attend such programs he sometimes shuts down his shop.
Dr Samrat Ashok Maurya says there is complete communal harmony here in Ayodhya. “Members of the two communities are so closely living and interacting with each other that one cannot identify who is Hindu and who is Muslim. Hindus and Muslims take part in each others’ social and cultural activities,” he says. Dr Maurya seems to have got communal harmony and secularism in his blood. His father was breastfed by a Muslim woman for one and half years when he was just one and his mother died.

But this is a rarest of the rare cases.. Post 1992 demolition 7,000 were killed 99% casualties were Muslim. A challenge to the Constitution of India was mounted using Ram as pretext. Planners of this crime targeted the Constitution of India and showed how weak it was on the ground.
Muslims would win this case, as it is a strong case. However emotions have got involved. After getting Legal Victory it would be advisable if muslim leadership gather and gift this won-over land to the Hindu Community. In fact, go further and assist Hindus in building a Ram Temple.
This will pull the sting out of the RSS BJP VHP hate-bank politics. Infact the saffron cobra will become a plastic snake. Whoever loses this suit is the REAL winner. Muslims will win 2 acres of land (on paper, as possession which is 9 points in law out of 10 will remain with the make-shift temple !) This phyrric legal victory will ignite a sense of frustration / denial among Hindus. It will unite Hindus like nothing else, and BJP/VHP can manipulate this. A Hate Yatra led by Narendra Modi still has potential for violence.
How to circumvent Hate-Bank Politics ? Give them what they want. Sometimes you have to lose a battle to win the war.

Glad to know you are not RSS. If you are a member of RSS then also I have nothing in special. RSS has an hate ideology promoted by its founders. Some are fanatics, some are terroristsm some are butchersm and some others are peace loving. All are human beings. Support the GOOD and oppose the EVIL, is our duty. It is the ideology of Sanathan Dharma and Islam. Both are same promoted by GOD.
Kashmiri Pandits and Kashmiri Temples. Or take Kashmiri issue in total. I am not a Kashmiri. I am an Indian, a proud Indian.
If Kashmiris are in need of freedom, I support them. They have the right to choose their choice. But they have no right to attack others. India got freedom from British. We fought against British. USSR become so many nations, now. Germany united. Bangladesh become free from Pakistan. Let the Kashmiris decide what they want. India or Pakistan has NO right to subjugate them. In a peaceful mood, the issued should be solved. India has no need to lose its army men and wealth for that purpose.
Kashmiri Pandits are Kashmiris and they have the right to live there. Indian government should protect them. It is the duty of the governement. I do not know the Kashmiri Pandits left their home, as Palestinians are forced to live their land.
Bangladesh Hindus. I never saw such reports as you says 'persecution'. If such things happened UN should interfere. Religion is one's choice. Nation (Home) is his/her Birth right. No one has the right to deny their existence.
I will support the Muslims, if Gujarath happened again, to call UN to interfere in India, if the government of India failed to protect the minorities.
I hope my stand is clear. I am for Borderless Nations. Then no huge security expences for arms and ammunitions. No Bombs and Warplanes. No mombardment and Shootings.

In my opinion the peple of india, first think progress of the country,contribution for the country then many of the problem will aotomatic solved.Let some place is not clear to whom it.then the govern ment should use it as common facilty for the common pepule like college etc.which shuld be benifit to the all part of local socity.

I’m an Indian Muslim living abroad
Majority of Indians are very depressed about the present situation in India.
If we were not in such situation, India was able to develop like or better than China, but our internal fights are pulling us back.
I was born and bought up in a southern Indian village having Muslim and non-Muslim friends. We were feeling lucky to be in many religions as we able to celebrate at the religious occasions like Eid, Onam, Christmas. Eid days I was inviting my friends including non-muslims to my home and they do the same when Onam and Christmas comes. Also we have ‘annual puja festival’ at nearby temple – we support them by all means (including financial support) to make it a success.
We 99.99% of us follow a particular religion because we born within it and unfortunately most of us have no deep knowledge about it. I believe all the religions including Hinduism & Islam for peace. If anyone they are away from peace and they are talking behalf of religion, be sure they have their own benefit but not for the community. A person really follow their religion, they cannot do bad to the society.
All the ‘terrorism’ is because of injustice. To control such practice, the real reason should be investigated and treated quickly and effectively. Social workers must do awareness programs for the society especially for illiterates.
I believe the unpleasant situation came in India after the demolition of Babri Masjid, Indian Muslims and other minority feels very insecure and the government didn’t take any good action. With this situation all community in India including Hindu are under panic and now we see the reflections all over India.
Please work to unite India, be away from dirty politics. Try to learn other religions from the trustable source available. And try to help & respect other religions and people around you. God bless you.

Majority of the Indians ( for you and folk like you ) are drepressd about the situation in India, but I and many of my friends do not think so. India is in such a situation because a micro-miniroty of brahmins and their higher caste are rulling India in proxy, the problems can be solved only when all peoples can have their due share in power, and these brahmins with its 3% populations should be shown their due share - either wise as according to you the situations of India will be much worse than the present time.
Again you are comparing with China, their is a vast difference in between India and China, China is China and India is India, since I belong from the border of China and my place is nearer to China and Bangladesh and Burma and Thailand than Delhi. When in 1962 war in between China and India, the Brahmin Nehru was sorry for the people's of Assam / N.E., and said to the populations of Assam / N.E. those who wants to shift towards India - lets us shift, he said that all the population will be replaced in Orissa. So this is the truth and do not try to compare India with China.
Again if you have come from your village from south of India, and you feel lucky to crebrate Islamic festival with non Islamic festival, and you even feel proud to support the non Islamic festival - its your personal choice and it have nothing to do with the Islamic festival. The 99.99% ( of us ) follow a particular religion because we are born to it, but but but most of the population do not have deep knowledge - it may be according to you, but if you give a deep analysis than you can have a deep knowledge as like you have given a comments over here.
All the terrorism is because of injustice. Who have said you that all are terrorism ? A war for freedom is a terrorism for another and vice versa. Look for example " The Mujahid ul Khalique " is a terrorist organisation for Iran, but it was a darling freedom fighter for US and Iraq but during 01 it was declared as a terrorist organisation by US and again in feb 09 for US it is not a terrorist organisation. Again the ULFA, NDLF, and more than 30 organisation are declared terrorists organisation including the maoist but majority of them are not from a particular religion as one will find the partial Indian mass media use to say or points out to a particular religion. Is Indian Army a terrorist organisation or various Indian States Police a terrorists organisation ? Because of their involvements in the bomb blasts and extra judicial murders and the secret killings ? Go to any part of the world and you will find that any person or organisation involved in killing or inciting hatred against its own populations because of the religion cannot come to power except the Zion Isreal but in India it is posible and a extra medal.

For Muslims the Babri demolotion is happened almost 17yrs back and as per Hindus Temple was destroyed a long ago. Just you can see the incidents was happended a long back but still it was effecting to each & every common individual Indian. To avoid the future conflicts and to give the better future for next generation which is free of Riots and differences. I suggest to construct a BIG & good HOSPITAL in that land where a common man also get good treatment which is more benefited to everyone.
I think this is the only solution to this issue which creates a good harmony among us. Because if any Temple or Mosque is rebuilt then again the problem of riots, loosing peace & country's harmony, economic will be effected which will result in stoping growth of our country.
Request to everyone to work towards countrys growth..... please don't listen or follow to any political part or religious party's like RSS,BJP,Congress, VHP,SP,BSP,Muslim League because all these peoples are corrupt and they can do anything to aquire RAJ GADDI... Just I was imagining that if you say to politician " Do you want to come in power by eating human flesh or Dogs flesh " they will say at any cost I want to come in power ".....

It is a shocking proclamation by RajNath Singh, BJP cheif, that they will built Ram temple at Masjid site, which was demolished by communalists and terrrorists. No one opposes their intention to built a temple to Ram. Thousands of temples are there in India for Ram and one more is not so bad. But why should they built on other's site? Buy land for temple and built a fully Golden temple for our Ram. It is very bad to use our Sri Ram for funny things and political gains. I know very well that Ram ran away from India in 1992, when the zealots demolished the Mosque, which was the home of God. Any how if BJP or any others have an intention to built a great temple for Ram, to bring him back, it should be in 24 carat gold. Indians will contribute for that and indian government will be ready to share with it. A plan worth some billions is possible and the revenue will be easily come back within a few years. Sabarimala last year earned some billions. We can avoid that land and reconstruct a small masjid for Muslims, there. Then all will be happy. Awaiting BJP RSS VHP leaders and readers comment on this. what i am about to put down is what i feel.
i know that making Ram temple a political issue is not at all justifiable.
it is an issue which belongs to the crores of people having a faith in lord ram.
as you said,

is also,i think,not justifiable. place where thousands of ram temple are built are not 'RamJanmbhoomi',at least,at the place where lord Rama born, should have his temple built.
Lord Ram is our national hero,he doesnt symbolize any perticular religion.as you might be knowing that he is still worshipped by muslim dominated indonesia.
i am surprised why Muslim brothers still claiming that place for a person who came from outside, invaded india and demolish thousands of temple at that times.
i request muslim brother to let ram temple to be built on ramjanmabhoomi,he belongs to all of us.
