Liberhan report lists 149 names of Hindu leaders who were part of the Ram Janmbhoomi movement. For Muslim leaders of the movement to protect Babri Masjid it list 37 names but a closer examination reveals that many of these are repeated many times and many of the names are incorrectly spelled.
Listing the names of Muslim leaders – Mohammad is written as Momad, Maulana is written as Mulana. Syed Shahabuddin appears in the list twice but both times incorrectly spelled as Shabudin. Sultan Salahauddin Owaisi is listed as Sultan Shabudin Owasi in few other places in the report. Interestingly, instead of Syed Abdullah Bukhari it lists Syed Ahmed Bukhari.
When repetitions are removed then we are left with only 19 Muslim names:
