“Civil Liberties believes that these are not those Taliban (Students) who are resisting American imperialistic forces in Afghanistan, but these people are the criminals and dacoits, are using the name of Taliban and are very much active in the frontier region of Pakistan. It seems that they can go to any extent and work for anybody for the sake of money,” Khan said.

The civil rights group has demanded the Government of Pakistan to take appropriate measures to provide special protection to the minorities in Pakistan and restore their confidence and ensure their safety and security. The group also demanded the government to arrest the criminals, take strong action against them and punish them according to the law. Compensation should be provided to the families of the victims.
