Speaking on this occasion, chief guest Sahara Urdu group editor Aziz Burney pointed out that it would be contrary to the spirit of Constitution of India to deprive Muslims from the rightful opportunity of development and progress. He further commented that the blame game of the partition and terrorism on Muslims has been exposed recently and people of India now know well that it is the Hindu fascist organizations behind such events.

KM Shareef, national general secretary of Popular Front of India, which organized the rally at Jaipur as a part of its National Campaign for Muslim Reservation, elaborated upon objectives of the campaign and put forward extensive data illustrating perpetuated backwardness of the community and said it would be a just and sane approach to bring out Muslims from their present morass. PFI will make a change
we need PFI. Their field work also remarkable one. out side to kerala there is no use with muslim leaque. TMMK also loosing its image
PFI is growing fast from
PFI is growing fast from south to north so some of them cannot tolerate the growth of PFI.these people shout only in kerala what abut other states???.PFI is doing great job in other states of India. PFI is now spread to 23 states if its a wrong organization people will ignore it.
PFI do not represent Muslims.
TCN gives un-deserving importance to PFI's programmes. If people like PFI are the representatives of Muslim opinion in future, it will be a tragedy for Muslim India. The problems with PFI are many. They are not transparent or tolerant. There is always something secret in their working in Kerala. They do not represent the open, straight forward charecter of Muslim society. In Kerala they usually fight with Muslim League, Sunni organizations,Communists and RSS.Many are died, many half-living.They start quarrels in silly problems and if some of them get killed, they claim that they are Shaheeds. In Islam, those who killed in some street-fight are not Shaheeds.Another problem with them is their Wahabi Aqeeda. Some of their leaders pretends to be Sunnis, but really they are Wahabis. They do not represent Muslim public. Please dont give them publicity with un-necessary coverage.
Coverage given to Popular Front of India in Two Circles Net
I appreciate the efforts of TCN in giving the due importance and coverage for the all the educational social empowerment activities initiated and implemented among the Muslim community in different parts of India. I also feel that TCN is very active in inspiring the discussions among the Indian Muslims to improve their lots which is tantamount to the significance of the motto that TCN displays on the web - that is found just below the logo, Inform, Educate, Empower. Hence I always support TCN and pray for the growth and expansion of this publication, from the part of the victim.
Regarding the comments of Shami about PFI, one can easily diagnose the symptoms of intolerance, which he alleges on PFI. What I have seen is that PFI has been operating in public with no secret or covert activities and they have their offices in major cities of India including Delhi. Since the very first day of establishing, PFI has been taking up the issues of the minorities and backward classes and were in the forefront to conduct campaigns all over the country which might have invited criticism by its opponents, who are not ready to allow or acknowledge any rights to the minorities and backward classes , as they are well aware of the consequences of empowerment of the hither to sidelined communities. Once these communities get their due share in the governance and distribution of the vast resources of the country, these will lose their hegemony and the cozy position they enjoyed hither to. Besides, it could be the envy of other organizations, particularly those exists in Kerala, to make such allegation against Popular Front. No police enquiry or investigation could substantiate such allegations and it proves that Shamy is making a fully prejudiced and nonsensical allegation to serve his / or someone else interests. It is too ignoble and obnoxious.
From the media it is well understood that PFI has started their campaign for adequate reservation for Muslims, whose situation is very pathetic and far behind the schedule castes even, as exposed by the Misra and Sachar commissions.
By the way, IUML who pretends to represent the Muslims in India did not take this issue even in Kerala where they claim to have their stronghold.
As a Keralite watching the situation, I could see only very few occasions of clash between popular front and IUML or CPM, which is often based on the local issues of posters or programmes etc. On the contrary, clashes are there very between political parties on silly local issues, but to my surprise it does not bother shamy at all, even when they are very violent and destructive. In the name of hartaal, strike and protest march etc, we have seen political parties causing death of many innocents, when denying them the conveyance and / or immediate medical assistance during Hartal or protests. Though reduced with High court intervention, damage of public property has been quite synonymous with Strikes and / Hartaal in Kerala.
After all I am not a scholar and I would appreciate any effort from Shamy to shed more light to his statement; they are not sunnis, but they are wahabis.
Muslims of Kerala are
Muslims of Kerala are anxious about PFI and its parent organization NDF due to many reasons.Kerala is the only state where PFI has got remarkable presence.Kerala is notable due to abundance of Muslim organizations. In political field there are four strong Muslim organizations.
Muslim League:Its activities are very strong and it has got good following. It has a proud history of more than 50 years.
PDP:In south Kerala , PDP has got remarkable following. They have a lot of non-Muslim members also.Their presence and influence in Kerala politics is commentable.
INL: Muslim party with an average following.
Jamaate islami:Though they are not there in election politics; they are active with political activities.
they also got grass root level influence and fifty years experience. They have announced their entry in election politics.
Many religious organizations are also there like two fractions of sunnis, two fractions of salafis .
A lot of cultural and educational organizations are also there; like MES and MSS.
In this abundance, most of Keralites consider PFI's arrival as a unhealthy competition.PFI's another peculiarity irritates every other Muslim organization; their un-paralleled party spirit.PFI will do anything to project their brandname. They start everything their own;student and girls organizations, colleges, news paper, magazines, audio visual units, publishing houses, and even Masjids. This destroy the collective strength of Muslims and brings unnecessary competition.
The most serious problem of PFI is their misinterpretation of Jihad. In the name of Jihad, NDF takes part in killing games with other organizations like CPM and RSS.NDF is involved in a number of incidents of political and religious murders. In every places where NDF got influence, people expect unpleasent situation any time.Even followers of other Muslim organizations like Muslim League, salafis and sunnis are attacked by NDF many times.
Another problem of NDF is their immature political ambitions.Other organizations who recently entered in politics has got history of many years of social work.TMMK has strong history of grass root level social and political work.Muslim League has the best experience.Jamiat Ulema and Jamat Islami have worked many years in many fields before entering politics.AUDF is formed by experienced organizations like Jamiat Ulema and Jamat Islami.
But PFI has got only short history; that also of violent clashes with other communities.
So, my advice to PFI is :
Stop violent methods.Avoid culture of violence.
Before entering politics;make yourself better through social works.
Correct your bad relations with non-Muslims.
Convert your aggressive party-spirit as spirit for Islam and Muslims.
Instead of creating unhealthy competition among Muslim organizations in already strong fields; try to find out new fields where Muslims are weak.
Be transparent.Avoid secret working style.
Avoid un-Islamic tactics.
PFI belongs to each sector of muslims.
Brother Shami may be irked by the popularity of PFI which is very popular in south nw spreading in north also.We are not fighting against any muslim or secular organization.PFI fighting for empowerment of muslim many dalit backward class organization joining hands with pfi. its very funny to see sunnis blaming pfi as wahabis where as wahabis blaming as jamaat islami this is because PFI belongs to all sector of muslim community thats why PFI getting more popularity.PFI dont have any problem with any muslim organization it also true that PFI never worked against any muslim organization nd involved in any blame game
PFI/Shami
Shami, you are right. PFI is going to screw up Muslims, and will drag them down sacrificing all the progress that has been made by Muslims, especially in kerala.
They are the recycled SIMI, NDF; they have done much damage to Muslims and others. I do hope their funding sources are properly investigated by the Home Ministry. It seems to eb an outreach of KSA Wahabis who have created havoc all over the world bringing ba dname for Muslims.
TCN has been giving undue importance to PFI and its sister SDPI; God knows why; reporting that a PAnchayat contestant lost by xx or won by xx votes.
The larger question is, is what Muslims want now is another political organization? Or a soul searching, grass -roots oriented awareness and development program?
Shamy - Do not prejudiced and baseless allegations.
Kerala Muslims do enjoy a better situation than their counterparts elsewhere in India. Muslim population of India is second largest behind Indonesia and that makes itself the sense that they are strong enough to decide their agenda and their own programmes for improvement. They do need any support from anybody outside. Never they need it from their neighbours like Pakistan, Bangladesh or Saudi Arabia, where there are more Muslims.
Shamy should not forget that the Indian Muslims once had a very brilliant leadership and they never waited for outside help. Nor they need now. It was our own predecessors who declared that they are loyal to the Indian constitution, while they were persecuted and executed by the sangh parivar organization during the partition
Shami you are fully biased and hence totally wrong and he has started a campaign to tarnish the image of PFI with half baked lies. When you make an allegation, you should have a minimum policy of providing the necessary evidence at your end, even if it is your opponent or arch enemy.
IUML had once 15 MLAS in West Bengal in the seventies and a big zero outside Kerala. But at present they have only 2 members in the parliament, and their activities are limited to a few districts in Kerala. Hence Muslims definitely need a strong political organization that would be able accommodate every Muslim from every nook and corner of India. Political empowerment is not the ONLY solution to their problems. It should include improvement in their situation in all walks of their life and areas of their involvement. That is what Popular Front is aiming at.
Rally journey by Aziz Burney
In the melee of so-many new dust-storms, obfuscation(s), diversion(s) by mainstream media and politicians alike - there is someone who is rallying with a "BURNING TORCH" highlighting the IMPORTANCE of RANGANATH MISHRA Commission Report Implementation.
We need some-one to keep reminding our politicians - Kaangress and Bhajpa that people DID NOT FORGET these BURNING ISSUES:
Liberhan Commission Report
Ranganath Mishra Commission Report, and
Saachar Commission Report.
Thank you "lighting the torch" and drawing people's and politicians attention towards issues that impact and benefit our citizens.
