IIT-JEE results out: Rahmani-30 results low, ranks high
By Mumtaz Alam Falahi, TwoCircles.net,
Patna: Trying hard to repeat last year’s success, Rahmani-30 coaching centre for Muslim IIT aspirants has secured 33% results this year in IIT-JEE. However, the ranks of its successful students this year are higher than those of last year. According to the results of IIT-JEE 2010, announced at 8 am today, of 12 students of Rahmani-30 who had appeared in the April 11 test, only four have qualified for admission in IIT.
Congratulations to Maulana Muhammad Wali Rahmani and ADGP Abhayanand, the heart and brain behind Rahmani-30 experiment, on this success.

“The result of IIT-JEE-2010 is out now and by the grace of Almighty Allah, students of Rahmani 30 have once again proven with their success that strong will and sincere labour can let one achieve any goal easily. Supported by commendable and efficient efforts of Shri Abhyanand Ji, ADGP (Academic Head of Rahmani 30) and able faculty members and under graceful supervision and care of prominent Islamic scholar Hazrat Maulana Mohammad Wali Rahmani (Chairman, Rahmani Foundation, Khanqah Munger), the students of the institution have made themselves among selected ones of one of the most prestigious and toughest competitive examinations of the country,” Rahmani-30 release said.
The first batch of Rahmani-30, managed by the Rahmani Foundation of Munger, had got 100% success. Rahmani-30 was launched in July 2008 and the first batch appeared in IIT-JEE in April 2009. There were 10 students in the first batch. But the result of the second batch comprising 12 students, is not satisfactory, at least according to the popular expectation. However, Maulana Wali Rahmani, the patron of Rahmani-30 and Abyanand, ADGP, and the Academic Head of Rahmani-30, are satisfied with the results of their hard work.
“As usual we are very happy with the efforts we have made and with whatever results we have got,” Abhyanand told TwoCircles.net.
On why only one-third of the students of Rahmani-30 got success this year, the senior police officer of Bihar said: “Last year, the results were including the extended merit list. But this year none of our students is in the extended list. That’s why the results this year are more realistic.”
Talking to media, Maulana Wali Rahmani expressed happiness over the results and congratulated Abhayanand and the faculty for the success.

Rahmani-30 can feel satisfied with the fact that the ranks of the successful students this year are much higher compared to the last year.
Of 10 successful students of Rahmani-30 in 2009, six were in the extended list. Among the rest four, two had ranks above 6000 and two others between 1900-2000.
This year, however, none of the four successful candidates is in the extended list. Moreover, only one has a rank above 4007.
The successful students thanked God for their success and gave credit for it to their teachers, parents and friends. They specially thanked Mr Abhayanand and Maulana Wali Rahmani for their guidance and patronship.
Rahmani Foundation launched Rahmani-30 under the guidance of Abhayanand (ADGP) for meritorious but poor Muslim aspirants for IIT-JEE. The Patna-based Rahmani-30 is a residential coaching institute that offers tuition, food and lodging facilities free of cost to the selected Muslim students who want to opt for IIT.
Rahmani-30 conducted its first entrance test for selection of candidates on July 20, 2008. The test was held in 13 districts in Bihar including Patna, Gaya, Munger, Kishanganj, Katihar and Muzaffarpur. A total of 2,300 students had appeared in the entrance test.
The first batch consisted class XII pass-outs and was coached for one year. But from 2010 Rahmani-30 has started a new two-year batch for class X pass-outs, besides ongoing one-year program for class XII pass-outs. The coaching classes of both of these programs for the current session have already started.
In July 2008, Rahmani-30 was started in Bihar only. However, now it has opened its branches in Jharkhand, West Bengal and Maharashtra.

A salute to Rahmani-30
You are doing a great job, this is the way to grow your country / community.
Be secular
Why polarize on the basis of religion?
Why have an IIT JEE Madarassa?
If tomorrow VHP comes after you , whom will you blame? Why mix religion and secular education? Why not allow ALL bright students (irrespective of religion/caste) to come in?
Do you allow girls in Rahamani 30? Or does your religion stop you from educating women along with men?
I appreciate your efforts but please don't bring in religion.
there not enough man power
there not enough man power for girls at rahmani 30 but thanks for your concern for muslim girls inshallah very soon there will be proper arrangement for girls also
We also appreciate yoour
We also appreciate yoour 'concern' for muslims. Please keep intense hatred for Muslims aside.Don't you feel good when u see, muslims, the citizens of India progress?(naturally,if you are from Chaddhi gang, you won't).
'Do you allow girls in Rahamani 30?'
How many girls were there in Super-30.
'does your religion stop you from educating women along with men?'
-No,if they follow proper dress code and are modest, same is expected from Males(as per ISLAM).Do u have any problem?

Heartiest Congratulations!
Keep it up
Congratulations ....... :))
First of congratulations to all qualified candidates. Thanks of to Mr. Wali Rehmani sb and Mr. Abay Anand sb for inspirational, moral, financial and educational support to aspirants.
I think the success can be made to 100% as the aspirants are selected through very rigorous and competitive manner. They just need good quality of teachings, guidelines and motivations. They need some IITians to taught them like in Kota. I think, the hard work from the aspirant's side are quite above satisfactory level but they are not getting much from teacher. If we see in Kota, the teachers are more hard working in than aspirants to guide. They are quite updated with contemporary tools, techniques and short-cuts to solve the changing JEE pattern.
IIT-JEE just don't need hard work, it needs smart hard work.
Thanks

4tt Year
IIT Kharagpur
Replicate Rahmani-30 in Hyderabad AP., Chennai., Bangalore.
I want to see more muslim names in the IIT List. Every year i take a print-out of the list., and mark muslim names. This is a torture I inflict myself every year., when IIT results are out... when UPSC results are out... i mark the names., count the numbers., and brood.
It is time we got up... and take the first baby steps. It is now time for institution-building. Time to start with a clean slate.
I would want to explore replicating the experiments in Hyd., Blore., Chennai... and subsequently thru-out India. If need be., for purposes of material (intellectual property)., i am seriously considering meeting Mr. Narayana (Narayana IIT Academy Hyderabad)., to explore., if he can assist us in some way... i have written to Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor Siasat Daily, Jawaharlal Nehru Road., Hyderabad., in this regard... it is time to sit around a table., chalk out the plan of action... and build a small institution in Hyderabad first. We will evolve with time. Success will not come fast... it may take years... but so be it.
Planning for future
As Salaam alai kum,
Lot of thanks for writing such a motivating comment after the success of Muslim students at Rahmani Thirty center.
Dastagir Bhai, Last year your made several calls and emails were exchanged between you and me.You are planning here as written to talk and make a plan, where as we have already planned and implementing the most important part of strategy that is it's implementation. We have already opened center of Rahmani Thirty at Kolkotta , Bangalore and Aurangabad(Maharashtra).Students had been finally selected for the IIT coaching by Abhyanandji himself. He visited all the three places and interviewed them.Last your after few exchange of email between us and phone calls our communication was lost. You were not able to take out time to communicate with us, not to talk about visiting our center.
My request to you is become a part of the already a project running which is itself in infant stage. We already have Abhyanandji to guide and help us.There is no need to reinvent the wheel again.
I don't mean to hurt you here but request you to become a part of this project and do some activity rather reinventing the wheel again.
Thanks and Allah Hafiz
Note: Hope in 2010-11 you will be able to take out some time to visit and see our center at Patna, or and other place.
