E Ahamed assures actions to start Jamia Millia exam centre in Kerala

New Delhi: Union Minister of state for Human Resource Development Mr. E Ahamed has assured actions to start an exam centre here in Kerala of Delhi’s Jamia Millia Islamia University.

“For attending the university entrance exams, at present the students are asked to travel the whole long way to Delhi; so the exam centre here will ease their struggle to find a spot in the prestigious university” the minister said in reply to an application made on this regard by the Kerala Muslim Cultural Centre [KMCC].

He said that the AMU centre in Malappuram district was one such step intended at providing exposure to the Keralites to those prestigious Universities of the nation. He assured further attempts to start centres for All India Medical Entrance exams, in the state as well.
