Jawwad organised a meeting at Dargah Hazrat Abbas which was attended by hundreds of Shia Muslims. Waqf Board and its chairman Syed Waseem Rizvi remained on their target. Elaborating their future strategy, Jawwad said that all Shia Muslims will raise slogans of Labbaik Ya Hussain from rooftops on May 25, 26 and 27 between 10 pm to 10:15 pm. Thereafter a massive protest march will be organised from Imambara Sibtainabad Hazratganj to CM’s residence. “We will stay there till our demands are met,” said Jawwad.

Dissolve Shia wakf board: Jawwad
Main demands of Jawwad include dissolution of Shia Waqf Board and inquiry against Waseem Rizvi. Further he also demanded that to defeat the sinister designs of zionist forces US and Israeli embassies should be closed in India. “Mulayam Singh should ask UPA government to snap ties with them. If the government does not listen, he should withdraw his support,” said Jawwad. Presently Mulayam Singh’s Samajwadi Party is supporting Congress led UPA government at the centre.

The acrimony between Waseem Rizvi and Kalbe Jawwad began after Rizvi levelled allegations that Jawwad is engaged in selling of grave land in Imambara Ghufran Maab. Jawwad is presently mutawalli of Imambara Ghufran Maab.

Recently when the war of words reached its pinnacle, the supporters of both the groups clashed after Friday prayers outside Asafi Imambara. Police cases were registered by both the groups against each other. No arrests have been made so far.

Jawwad inciting passion of Shia Muslims: Waseem
On the other hand, Waseem Rizvi claimed that employees of waqf board are on a flash strike as some elements from other side had threatened them inside the office. He claimed that employees are demanding security. “I will soon meet the DM and DIG of Lucknow to provide security and register FIR against anyone who threatened our employees,” he said. Waseem also stated that Maulana Jawwad should help in the investigation on sale of grave land in Imambara Ghufran Maab. “I am promising him that if he comes out clean from the charges which he is facing from waqf board, I will resign and will never take any post in waqf board,” he said. Waseem claimed that Jawwad is politicising the issue and inciting passions of Shia Muslims for his own personal interests.
