Kuwait: Rajindar Sachar, former Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court and the head of “The Rajinder Sachar Committee”, (who was appointed in 2005 by the Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to prepare a report on the latest social, economic, and educational conditions of the Muslim Community of India) will attend the 3rd anniversary programme of the Indo-Kuwait Friendship Society (IKFS) to be held 1 November 2013 at Salmiya Indian Model School.
Justice Sachar will be the Chief Guest of the event.
Justice Sachar was also a member of United Nations’ Sub-Commission on the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights said that he is very much impressed with IKFS’ activities and contribution towards restoring National Unity, Patriotism, and the Indian national Integrity despite of caste and religion.
Dr. Ghalib Al-Mashoor, President of IKFS said our members are very much honored to receive such a great personality in their 3rd anniversary celebrations and added that IKFS will bestow Justice Sachar with IKFS Excellence Award for his valuable contributions towards social justice.
Justice Sachar will be accompanied by his daughter Madhavi Sachar, along with IKFS Patrons Sami Bubere (Chief Editor of Indo-Gulf Times, Ummeeth magazines and President of Mumbai based Sahyogh Cultural Society) along with Dhaval Bhatia (International trainer) who has agreed to conduct memory classes which IKFS hopes to mesmerize the students of Salmiya Indian Model School to be held at SIMS auditorium on1st November 2013.
Prominent Personalities both from India and Kuwaiti community will grace the function along with many Patrons of IKFS and various Executives of Indian Associations. A.K.S Abdul Nazar, IKFS General Secretary said.
