One billion rising program held at Rajasthan town

Tonk, Rajasthan: Tarraqi I foundation conducted one billion rising program for justice, violence day (“Sabki Yahi Aawaz Ho, Hinsa Mukt Samaj Ho”) on Friday near Marjina Begum’s residence.

In this program Zahir Aalam (coordinator of program), put forward the subject that increasing violence and aggression on women has now become an issue and to stop this curse, everyone should take steps to pull out roots of such stereotypes.



Najma Naseem (Retired lecturer) reported that women should now think in broad way and create awareness within them also women have to come forward to claim their rights.

Najmunnisa had taken oath with women that we will never ignore feticide, violence against women and together we will stop such acts.

Khalidar Anjuman NGO was also invited to the program. Chief of Khalidar Anjuman, Ziyaul Islam (Software Engineer, Mumbai) said that when a woman is educated then whole society will be educated, invoking the first word of Quran that descended upon the earth “Iqra.”

He added that the lack of education is the big cause that women are deprived from their rights



Toppers of state level online completion were also rewarded with certificates and trophies. This competition was held in December 2013 by khalidar Anjuman which was supported by Al Bayan Foundation Trust and Al-Falah Welfare Society Kota.

The program was also addressed by advocate Praveen Rana, Narendra Pareek Tonk City Police SHO, Ziyaul Islam, Mohammad Khan, and Saiful Islam (Chief Functionary, Al-Bayan Foundation).
