“Do not confine Sir Syed Ahmad Khan in the education field alone. He had multifaceted personality and has contributed much in nation building,” Bhatt said while releasing the book at the NCMEI office. Pointing out that ‘Asaar us Sanadeed’ is based on the old buildings of Delhi, he called upon the young generation to go through the book to know about the rich heritage.

Signing the memorandum demanding a Bharat Ratna to Sir Syed, Justice MSA Siddiqui observed: “In fact, Bharat Ratna should have been awarded to Sir Syed long back and the Aligarh movement magazine has raised a very valid demand. Sir Syed was not a man but a mission, who devoted his life for national and community causes.”

According to a release issued here, Jasim Mohammad, convener of the Aligarh Movement, said his organization decided to re-print Sir Syed Ahmad Khan’s several books as “unfortunately only their comprehensive editions are available.”

He also announced that they have decided to collect one crore signatures to be submitted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for awarding Bharat Ratna to Sir Syed Ahmad Khan.
