Rahmani-30 declares result for IIT-JEE coaching, 93 selected

Patna: Rahmani-30 has announced the final result for a free residential coaching class for the preparation of IIT-JEE 2017. In all, 93 candidates have been selected for the coaching for IIT-JEE examination two years later, of which 30 are wait-listed.

These 93 students were selected after a written and viva test. The free courses are conducted for underprivileged Muslim students.

Final interviews were conducted on May 10 for as many as 63 students. The final interview was conducted by Abhyanand, former Bihar DGP. In all 30 students have been selected for Rahmani 30 Patna; 18 students have been placed for MS Rahmani 30 at Hyderabad and 15 have been placed at Anjuman Islam Rahmani 30 at Mumbai for the free residential preparation programme for IIT-JEE. Remaining 30 have been selected for Rahmani Wave, Patna.

Apart from these 93 students, 14 others are kept in the waiting list, Shabbir ul Hoda, manager, Rahmani 30, said.

Rahmani-30, the free residential coaching centre, had conducted the entrance test on Sunday, April 12, 2015 for IIT-JEE and also for coaching of All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) for 2017 entrance examination at various centres across seven states.

The free residential coaching centre is run by Munger-based Rahmani Foundation under the patronage of Maulana Syed Mohammad Wali Rahmani and academic mentorship of Abhayanand, former DGP of Bihar, famous for Super 30, a release said.

Every year, Rahmani 30 selects Muslim students from under-privilege background on the basis of a written test and interview/viva and imparts education and training free of cost so that Muslim students may be able to compete in the high educative society.
