“RISE aims to equalize opportunities for students by providing educational tools through technology. RISE has developed two mobile tools that are used by students — RISE App and RISE Edu Tablet that enables users to improvise their quantitative and analytical skills for exams like JEE (Mains/Advanced), BITSAT, JKCET etc,” said RISE co-founder Imbesat Amhed.

RiSE Edu tablet is a product that creates an interface of interaction between students and teachers, streamlines academic processes in a classroom and creates an exhaustive database of information.

“Students can take tests and use the app without any internet connectivity, thus, the app works in areas of harsh terrains and rural regions where students do not have access to reliable internet connection or cellular network,” he adds.

RISE was started by a bunch of dedicated, zealous IITians to coach and empower poor talented Kashmiri students to get into prestigious educational institutions. Since its inception in 2012, some four dozen students have made their way to different National Institute of Technology (NITs), Birla Institute of Technology (BITS) besides cracking several state level exams. This year, more than 35 students from their coaching center have qualified for NITs besides four have made their way into IITs.
