Bush’s daughter engaged to son of fellow Republican

Washington : President George W. Bush’s daughter, Jenna, is engaged, the White House has said.
Jenna Bush, 25, is to marry Henry Hager, 29, a student and member of a prominent Virginia Republican family. The groom’s father, John Hager, is the chairman of the state’s Republican party, a former lieutenant governor and former Bush education department official.

Jenna, one of the Bush’s twin daughters, is a teacher who is currently writing children’s books with her mother, Laura Bush.

The pair became engaged Wednesday, but no wedding date has been set, the White House said in a statement.

Jenna and her twin, Barbara, have stayed largely out of the public eye since several incidents of underage drinking as college students.
