Brno (Czech) : World championship leader Casey Stoner led from start to finish on his Ducati to win the Czech MotoGP Grand Prix.
It was the Australian’s seventh victory in 11 races this season.
“Everything worked perfectly today, the bike, the tyres. I was fast at the beginning … so I could relax slightly towards the end,” the 21-year-old Stoner said after Sunday’s race.
American John Hopkins led his Suzuki to second place, trailing Stoner by 7.903 seconds.
Hopkins’ compatriot and world champion Nicky Hayden was third.
