Gaza : Al-Qassam Brigades, armed wing of the Islamic Hamas movement, Monday vowed to take revenge on Israel for the killing of its six members by an Israeli airstrike in central Gaza Strip.
Chief of emergency in the Palestinian ministry of health said that six Palestinians were killed and two wounded in an Israeli airstrike on their car east of al-Buriej refugee camp in central Gaza Strip.
“After this awful massacre, all choices for al-Qassam Brigades will be opened. The occupation forces are playing with fire by targeting our members,” said Abu Obeida, spokesman for the Hamas’ armed wing in Gaza.
Palestinian witnesses said that an Israeli helicopter fired one rocket at a jeep belonging to Hamas police force near the security fence separating between Israel and Gaza to the east of al-Burij refugee camp.
They said that two of the six are members of Hamas executive force, and the other four are members of Hamas armed wing.
Ambulance workers said it was difficult to collect the remains of the bodies since they were torn apart and scattered in the border area.
They added that the two wounded are in serious condition.
