Kuwait : The country will witness a conference on February 17-19 on basic educational themes namely usage of technology and role of the private sector for promotion of this vital sector.
Dr. Anas Al-Rushaid, the chairman of the higher supervision committee for the national conference for the promotion of education, said in remarks to KUNA that the conference, to be held under the theme, education for service of development, would be held in line with desire of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah — and under His Highness’ sponsorship.
Conferees will debate the cabinet-blessed 2005-2025 strategy for the development of education, hindrances facing the promotion of this sector, strategic schemes, educational technology and role of the private sector for the advancement of teaching in the country.
He indicated that the event will involve experts and grass-root associations.
