An Audi for hole-in-one at Global Green Bangalore Open

Bangalore : Asian Tour stars Rahil Gangjee and S.S.P. Chowrasia will head the field that will see former Asian Tour winner Harmeet Kahlon, Digvijay Singh, Arjun Singh and Gaganjeet Bhullar at the Rs.3 million Global Green Bangalore Open 2007 which gets underway here Thursday.

In addition to the prize purse, an Audi TT Coupe will be awarded to the hole in one winner.

Global Green is India’s leading horticulture company and they are backing a new event on the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) this year.

The tournament is a 72-hole stroke play championship and cut will be applied after 36 holes. Thereafter, the top 50 players and ties will play over the weekend.

Bangalore golf enthusiasts can also look forward to a Golf Clinic conducted by Shiv Kapur and Rahil Gangjee.
