Miliband records condolence at Pakistan High Commission

LONDON, Dec 29 (APP): British Foreign Secretary David Miliband on Saturday recorded his impression on the death of former prime minister and Chairperson, Pakistan Peoples Party, Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto in the condolence book at Pakistan High Commission.

On his arrival at the High Commission, he was received by the Acting High Commissioner Manzur-ul-Haq and Head of the Chancery Hamid Asghar.

With a portrait of Ms.Bhutto adorning the table, he wrote “On behalf of the British Government, the British people we share the grief of your family and your country at this loss. We stand together to carry forward the works and values she represented in her lifetime.”

Later, he exchanged views on the situation in Pakistan with the Acting High Commissioner.
