Rawalpindi : President General Pervez Musharraf on Thursday directed the security agencies to be patient in carrying out operation at Lal Masjid and allow maximum time for the parents to safely take out their daughters from Jamia Hafsa.
The President gave the directive on humanitarian grounds to the officials of security agencies deployed outside Lal Masjid.
He ordered for temporary delay in operation allowing time for the parents to take out their daughters safely.
The sources said parents of the girl students stranded at Jamia Hafsa had requested President Musharraf for giving time to their daughters to come out of the madrassah as they had no link with the administration.
They requested delay in operation so that the girls could exit safely.Â
