Dhaka : Three people, including a baby girl, were killed and 30 injured when a bus plunged into a roadside ditch in Bangladesh's Kushtia district, 135 km west from capital Dhaka Sunday.
Sources said the accident took place at about 4.30 p.m. as the bus hit a roadside tree after the driver lost control over steering, news agency UNB reported.
Twenty-five of the injured were admitted to nearby hospital. Of them, the condition of five is stated to be critical, hospital sources said.
