Jammu : Jammu State Morcha (Progressive) has demanded early opening of Bani-Basohli-Bhaderwah road to facilitate the flow of tourists to the picturesque valley of Bhaderwah and other parts of Doda district.
The Party spokesman, Abdul Rouf Ganai in a statement said that it is ripe time for extending the dividends of vital Tourist industry to the potential areas of Jammu division like Bhaderwah.
He said the road which is complete in all respects awaits formal opening and any further delay could harm the interests of the people of this neglected area.
He said the road which is part of a tourist circuit could prove a life line for promoting conventional tourism inflow to the mountainous districts of Doda and Kishtwar, besides those visiting famous pilgrim places of the state like Mata Vaishno Devi, in Katra.
He urged upon the state government for providing loan packages educated unemployed youth of Bhaderwah and its peripheries to set up their ventures.
He said it would serve dual purpose of providing employment means to the youth and at the same time consolidating the required infrastructure for the promotion of tourism in the area.
