Abu Dhabi : The 11th International Business Forum Congress (IBF) to promote economic, industrial and investment cooperation among Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) member countries is now underway at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre here.
The three-day conference Nov 27-29 will be attended by senior government officials, businessmen and investors from over 61 countries. The event has the backing of General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, the WAM news agency reported Wednesday.
The IBF aims to promote economic, industrial and investment cooperation among Muslim businessmen in the world through establishing a platform for participating business leaders and decision makers to build bridges between OIC member countries and the rest of the world.
It also aims to promote Abu Dhabi and the UAE among OIC countries and highlight the current and future investment potential of Abu Dhabi and the UAE as well as facilitate meetings between UAE businessmen and investors from the IBF members.
The event has been organised by MUSIAD, an independent industrialists and businessmen’s association, International Business Forum, Abu Dhabi Department of Planning and Economy, Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI), Higher Corporation for Specialised Economic Zones, General Holding Corporation, Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority, the Industrialists’ Union Society and Kenzay Training and Conferences Company.
