Kolkata : India won the toss and elected to bat in the second cricket Test against Pakistan at the Eden Gardens here Friday.
After all the speculation over the fitness of several Pakistani players, only one change was made in the XI that lost the first Test in Delhi, with batsman Faisal Iqbal replacing captain Shoaib Malik, who is nursing an ankle injury. Vice-captain Younis Khan took over as captain.
India, who lead the three-match series 1-0, retained the XI that won the first Test by six wickets.
