Baghdad : Two soldiers of the coalition forces were killed and 38 wounded in an attack against a US base near Baghdad airport, the US military said Thursday.
In a statement, the US military said that two nationals of a third country were also injured by the attack, which took place Wednesday on the Camp Victory that occupies the area surrounding the Baghdad International Airport and the Saddam’s former presidential palace of Faw, which serves as the headquarters for the Multinational Corps-Iraq.
The statement did not provide further details about the incident, but said it is under investigation.
